Activated Carbon(Loose)

Activated carbon in an aquarium is a granular material used for chemical filtration. It helps remove dissolved pollutants, odors, and discoloration from the water, keeping the aquarium clean and healthy. Loose activated carbon, unlike pre-packaged options, isn't pre-rinsed and can be dusty, requiring rinsing before use. It's typically placed in a mesh bag or media reactor within the filter to prevent it from scattering throughout the aquarium.
