Regal Angel Fish(Pygoplites diacanthus)

The Regal Angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus) is a stunning marine fish known for its vibrant coloration and distinctive pattern. It features alternating vertical yellow and black-edged white bars on its body, a blue dorsal fin with black markings, and a yellow tail fin. Juveniles have a more orange hue and a distinctive "false eye spot" on their dorsal fin that fades with maturity. They are found in tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific and Indian Oceans, inhabiting coral reefs and lagoons.
