The diamond goby, scientifically known as Valenciennea puellaris, is a popular saltwater fish known for its vibrant coloration and sand-sifting behavior. It's characterized by a slender, white or pale tan body with bright orange spots and dashes, particularly around the head and flanks. These fish are relatively small, reaching about 6 inches in length, and are popular in reef tanks for their sand-cleaning abilities.
