Cherry Barb(Puntius titteya)
The Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya) is a small, peaceful freshwater fish with a torpedo-shaped body, typically reaching 5 cm (2 inches) in length, that displays a distinctive bright red color, particularly in males. It features a prominent dark horizontal stripe running from its head to its caudal fin and a contrasting silver highlight on its belly. Males are more vibrantly red, especially during breeding, while females are a deeper red with a more robust body and a slight greenish sheen.
