Neon Tetras are small, freshwater fish known for their vibrant coloration and peaceful nature, making them popular aquarium additions. They have a bright neon blue stripe running horizontally along their body, contrasted by a red stripe on the lower half. These fish are relatively small, growing to about 1.5 inches (4 cm) in length, and are native to the blackwater and clearwater streams of the Amazon basin in South America.
