Puntius denisonii, or the Denison barb, is an elongated, torpedo-shaped freshwater fish from India, notable for its striking red and black horizontal stripes and silvery body. It features a bright red stripe from its nose to the midpoint of its body, overlaid by a black stripe above it. Its fins are often tipped with yellow and black.
